Machining Precision:

  • Shape accuracy: The shape accuracy of the valve core needs to meet the design requirements. For example, tolerances such as roundness and cylindricity are generally controlled within a very narrow range.
  • Position accuracy: The fit clearance between the valve core and the valve body needs to be strictly controlled to ensure that the valve core moves flexibly in the valve body and has good sealing performance.
  • Surface roughness: The surface roughness of the valve core needs to meet certain requirements to improve its wear resistance and sealing performance. Generally speaking, the surface roughness Ra value of the outer circle of the valve core should be less than 0.1 μm, and the Ra value of the inner circle surface of the valve hole should be less than 0.2 μm.

Machining Process:

  1. Cutting: Cut according to the required valve core size. Usually, a cutting machine is used for cutting.
  2. Heat treatment: Perform heat treatment on the cut material to improve its hardness and toughness for subsequent processing.
  3. Rough machining: Perform preliminary processing on the material through processing equipment such as lathes to obtain a roughly shape and size.
  4. Finish machining: Use precision equipment such as CNC lathes and grinders for processing to obtain accurate shape and size. During the finish machining process, finishing processes such as grinding and high-gloss grinding are also required to improve the surface quality of the valve core.
  5. Assembly and debugging: Assemble the processed valve core into the hydraulic regulating valve and perform debugging and testing to ensure that it meets the design requirements and usage needs.
